Where do I even begin? This was easily the most amazing and unique sushi experience my partner and I have ever had. The restaurant is a hybrid between traditional Edomae sushi and modern French dining, crafted by two seasoned executive chefs who each bring their own magic to the table. You move through an intricate course where beautifully executed French dishes are perfectly woven between the freshest sushi we’ve ever tasted. Every bite felt thoughtful and precise. We loved the Hokkaido purple uni and different tunas (chutoro, otoru, and akami) to name a few on the sushi side. Some of our favorite dishes on the French side were the scallop with caviar, the Mogami sagyu beef, and the liquid nitrogen infused fruit ginger was so cool! The service was flawless, warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. And if you can, don’t skip the wine pairing. Some of Japan’s top sommeliers are at Sushi M including the owner, Yoshinobu Kimura, and their selections elevated the entire experience. I’ve already recommended this spot to all my friends visiting or living in Japan, and every single person has come away absolutely blown away. This is a must-visit

I had an incredible experience at Sushi m!!!! The fusion of sushi and French cuisine was something I’d never seen before, and every dish was crafted with so much care The sushi was top quality, the French courses were beautifully plated, and the chefs were kind, engaging, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable!! The liquid-nitrogen fruit “gari” was such a fun and elegant surprise! Overall, it was a wonderful meal and a truly memorable evening! Highly recommended

Dining at Sushi M was one of the absolute highlights of our Tokyo trip, it was unbelievable. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt intimate, refined, and special. The chef’s omakase was an experience in itself: each piece was crafted with such precision, creativity, and respect for the ingredients. The balance of flavours and textures was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Every course told a story, and you could really feel the passion and artistry behind each bite. The service was equally outstanding, especially our waiter Tomoki - warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. They took the time to explain each dish and make sure we felt comfortable, which added so much to the experience. Sushi M is an absolute must-visit in Tokyo if you want something truly special and memorable.

Absolutely amazing dining experience! From the quality and presentation of the sushi to the unique fine dining dishes served in between, this is the most stunning omakase sushi I’ve had in Tokyo. The staff are friendly and attentive, and extremely talented in their craft. The decor and ambiance is also wonderful - a blend of tradition and modernity. Cannot recommend Sushi m enough for a one-of-a-kind experience!

I had a great experience at Sushi m! The sushi was honestly the best I’ve had in Japan so far, especially the tuna. They even brought out a whole section of the tuna, which was really impressive to see in person. Definitely something you don’t get to experience every day. Even though I’m not usually into wine, I still really enjoyed the pairings. Some of them were super unique. The seaweed sake especially was something I did not expect at all! A very unique taste. The Matsuzaka beef with truffle was another standout. It was so good, I was really hoping there would be a second serving. If you care about top-quality food and beautiful presentation, I’d definitely recommend a visit!

I would say it’s one of the best omakase restaurants in Japan across major cities. The fusion food menu design is absolutely innovative. The dishes are just a state of art. Impressive food quality, services and atmosphere. We thought it’s a bit expensive before, but it totally worths for every penny you spent. The sommelier is so professional and gives us many advices on sale/ wine paring. I will definitely go again and have no hesitation to recommend to anyone looking for an extraordinary omakase experience. All I mentioned above is still an understatement.

鮨m Everything was phenomenal, from beginning to end. The guest sitting next to me put it best: “This is Michelin-star level.” To me, however, the restaurant doesn’t need Michelin’s endorsement; it knows exactly what it’s doing and sets an exceptionally high standard for food, quality, and service. That meticulous attention to every possible detail is why I like it so much. Say, for example, zero-waste philosophy is something that the restaurant wants to convey through its seasonal menu and it was all expressed in one simple yet humble broth. Nothing fancy—nor did it need to be—yet the message was articulated loud and clear. To this extent, I appreciate its philosophy even more. The sake pairings were extraordinary. I can’t drink much, yet I savored every sip. The first pour, served at the perfect temperature, released a fragrance that unfolded slowly—fruity yet floral—while the texture stayed light and gentle. The next one carried a touch more sweetness and an intriguingly “gummy” aroma (nothing artificial, simply an amusing resemblance). Its sweetness soon settled into a silky smoothness that paired flawlessly with the food. Finally, a limited-edition bottle broadened my horizons of what a glass of sake can do. For the sake pairings alone, Sushi m already composes a symphony. Imagine what thoughtful pairings of both sake and wine could do for the palate.
